An important result for Biolab, a project we have been working on for a long time: our new production facility inside a repurposed slaughterhouse, where several departments are housed: from Administration to Logistics, in order to ensure better efficiency and more temperature-controlled storage room for our foodstuffs.
The conversion of the former slaughterhouse in Gorizia into Biolab’s third production plant is finally a reality. After moving in last May, the Logistics and Administration departments are now operational. With the new facility, Biolab now boasts a total area of 4500 square meters.
The choice of a former slaughterhouse as a new production site has a strong symbolic value for a brand like ours, specializing in vegetarian and vegan food. Moreover, it allows for a better distribution of the activities across the territory, facilitating the freight transport and logistics and ensuring more temperature-controlled room for food storage.
Founder Massimo Santinelli’s goal is to increase production capacity and ensure an even faster growth for Biolab and its branches: Rosa di Gorizia, “Azienda Agricola Santinelli” Farming Enterprise, “La Bottega della Rosa” shop.
